Legendary rapper—and fellow dance craze innovator—MC Hammer joined Psy on stage to close the show with a medley of “2 Legit 2 Quit” and Psy’s viral YouTube hit “Gangnam Style.” InStyle.com caught up with Hammer after the performance to find out the biggest style question of the night: How did they decide to wear those iconic pants? “When Psy and I first talked about doing this together, one of the things he asked me was, ‘Hammer, are you going to wear the pants?,’” he told InStyle.com. “And I said, ‘Psy, I only wear the pants on special occasions.’ I call this a special occasion, so I brought the pants out!” We’re so glad he did.
