She may have retired the Hannah Montana ensemble, but for Halloween, Miley Cyrus channeled her inner Harajuku Barbie with a Nicki Minaj-inspired costume. We’re loving her bright makeup, technicolor wig, and animal print bodysuit, but, of course, no Minaj look is complete without a set of candy-colored nails. Cyrus’s manicurist, Jenna Hipp, created a neon leopard look for the star, and you can shop the exact nail decals for just $16 at Hipp’s OpenSky online boutique! Bonus: 100 percent of the proceeds from Hipp’s shop will go toward the American Red Cross to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. An instant mani that looks good and does good? Now that certainly has our heartbeats running away! Pick up a set at opensky.com, and click through our gallery for more celebrities in costume.
Celebrity stylist Jen Rade is famous for working her styling magic on mega-stars like Angelina Jolie and Katharine McPhee, and now she’s turning her attention to you. We caught up with Rade at the T.J.Maxx and Marshalls fall preview—where she put together outfits featuring the stores’ discounted designer finds—and she divulged six amazing ways to look great at work, without overworking your budget, your closet, or your life. “My whole theory to styling is that everything can’t be something,” she told InStyle.com. “If you’re trying to make an impression anywhere in your life, don’t go crazy. Less is more, especially in the workplace. Leave the crazy spider eyelashes and glitter makeup at home. It’s not a rave, it’s the office.” Click through the gallery to read her tips now!
This month, photographer Kelly Klein released Pools: Reflections, a stunning follow-up to the original from two decades ago, Pools. The new update takes a look at how pools are incorporated into fashion, architecture, design, and it’s also for a good cause: Klein will donate all profits of the book to the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America (ACRIA), which works to ensure people living with HIV/AIDS have longer, healthier lives. And that’s not the only way to give back: In addition to the book, Klein teamed up with the non-profit organization to create this special-edition tee, which shows one of the images featured in the tome, and a portion of the sales will also benefit ACRIA. Shop for the book for $100 on rizzoliusa.com and pick up the shirt for $85 at acria.org.

After days of pre-Halloween parties, October 31 finally arrived, and stars pulled out all the spooky stops. For Kim Kardashian‘s LIV party in Miami, the Kardashian clan, including Kim, Kanye West, Kourtney (as Batgirl), and Scott Disick (as Robin) joined forces to pay homage to the Caped Crusader himself, Batman (played by Kanye, of course). And it wasn’t just their collective costumes that tied them together: Kim tweeted that there were also “cars to go with our theme!” That’s one very Kardashian-style Halloween outing! (Batmobile included.) Click through the gallery below to see more stars in costume!
