A new episode of The Good Wife premiered last night, in which Julianna Margulies’s character, Alicia Florrick, had to mix her power lawyer persona with her soft-spoken approach as mom to help defend a drug lord. In order to get the perfect hard-soft aesthetic, costume designer Daniel Lawson dressed Margulies in a Fendi jacket—one of the same jackets the actress wore in last week’s episode, and a piece he picked up at Bergdorf Goodman before it even hit the sales floor. “I turned to my assistant and said, ‘That’s it!’ It was such a terrific find,” Lawson said of scoring the look.
