Julianne Hough: “I’ve Always Wanted to Shave My Head”

Over the summer, Julianne Hough hacked her long blond waves into a chin-skimming bob to film Safe Haven, and it turns out the star is tempted to take off even more. “I keep going shorter, it’s like the curse of the short hair syndrome,” Hough told InStyle. “My friend has a pixie cut and I’ve been wanting to do her style. I probably won’t do that, but I want to!” But the inspiration doesn’t end there—perhaps as a nod to her character in Rock of Ages, Hough has also considered going for a shorn, punk rock ‘do. “I’ve always wanted to shave my head, but that probably won’t happen either,” she added. Now that’s what we’d call an extreme makeover, which would be fitting, as Hough covered InStyle‘s 2012 Makeover issue.
