In Nobody Walks (out today in New York and Los Angeles), cool girl Olivia Thirlby shines as a comely young artist from New York who comes to Los Angeles for work and almost immediately stirs up trouble in the lives of the family she’s staying with. The results are interesting, pensive, and alarming, which isn’t all that surprising considering the fact that Girls girl Lena Dunham is the film’s co-writer. Passions are provoked and resentments rise in this provocative, subtle dramedy also starring John Krasinski and Rosemarie DeWitt. “John told me he had never had sex before onscreen,” Thirlby told InStyle for our October issue. “I was honored to shoulder that burden.” Find out where Nobody Walks is playing near you.
