For her latest venture into nail art, Katy Perry went old school: the singer had Daria and all her socially awkward, 1990s-era friends painted on her fingernails! Perry initially tweeted the manicure, Created by ES Nails Tokyo, with the caption, “It doesn’t get any better than hand painted DARIA nails by the girls at ES Nails TOKYO!” The detailed creations took hours to make: “I am a nail art aficionado,” Perry told InStyle.com at this weekend’s Hammer Museum’s 10th Annual Gala in Los Angeles. “Nail art is very popular amongst the tweens, and the girls who think they are still tweens. This took me three hours and that is a lot of focus!” We think Daria, Jane, Jake, Brittany, Tiffany, and the rest of the gang look awesome on her hands!
