On Scandal, the story line for Katie Lowes’s character Quinn Perkins is about to get crazy—she said so herself—and we can’t wait to watch the story unravel a little bit more tonight. In the meantime, there is so much more at play on this show that goes on behind-the-scenes, especially in the wardrobe department. That’s why we caught up with the show’s costume designer, Lyn Paolo, to find out the inspiration behind this season’s look. (Fun fact: She also clothed the cast of Friends!) Click through the gallery to get wardrobe details straight from Paolo, then tune in tonight for a new episode at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.

And that’s a wrap! Paris Fashion Week came to a close yesterday, capping off a month of lusting after the hair, makeup, and nails we saw on the runways. There were tons of memorable looks—like the “techno-butterfly” eyes at Christian Dior, the bold red lips at Prada, or the Asian-inspired updos at Gucci. So we rounded up our ten favorite trends straight from the runways: colorful eyeliner, detailed nail art, and much more. See them all in the gallery!
It’s a good week for celebrity kids! Just days after Jennifer Lopez’s wee one Emme took a front seat at the Chanel show, we spotted Jessica Alba and her daughter Honor trotting around Beverly Hills in matching mommy-and-me outfits. Both paired their patterned bottoms with white tees and denim vests (Alba’s is Genetic Denim’s “Rocky” style). So cute!

Is there anything James Franco can’t do? Stuart Weitzman hired the actor-director-writer-graduate-student to create a series of four vignettes entitled “Walking After Midnight,” starring supermodel and Dancing With the Stars alum Petra Nemcova. The first vignette, called “The Backflip,” was released on the Stuart Weitzman Facebook page (watch it above), and the subsequent three will debut there as well—one every Wednesday through October. Set to a modern re-make of Patsy Kline’s song of the same name, the shorts show Nemcova wearing the brand’s signature stilettos and boots as she strides through the largely deserted streets of New York. The goal is to demonstrate that “that no matter how high the heel, Stuart Weitzman stilettos can take you from day to night,” according to a statement from the brand. (It’s true: Stuart’s shoes are really comfortable—just ask Kate Middleton!) Check out the clip above and keep an eye out for more to come.

Add a little sugar to your routine with Candie‘s new beauty products. The label has just introduced a variety of fruity-floral offerings–including perfume, nail polish, skin care and more–that have us licking our lips. Glee’s Lea Michele, who posed for the brand’s fall campaign, was enthusiastic: “I’m so happy to be a part of a brand so accessible to my fans,” she said of the line, which is available exclusively at Kohl’s. Our favorite items? Perfume, body wash and lotion in sweet scents such as vanilla bon-bon and sugarplum blossom. Shop the full selection of beauty products at kohls.com.
While Katharine McPhee is currently in the midst of filming the second season of Smash and recording her new record, due out next spring, she took a break from her busy schedule to tell us what to expect for round two of the show at last night’s Samsung’s Galaxy SIII launch party featuring M83 in New York City. Now you, too, can be a Bond girl! Or at least paint your nails like one. OPI’s new Skyfall line of lacquers celebrate the International Man of Mystery and his upcoming film. The limited-edition line features 12 polishes: half were inspired by James Bond’s charm, while the others suggest his darker, seductive side. “We wanted to celebrate the 50 years of style, swagger and mystique associated with Bond 007 with this line,” OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann said. ”The lacquers capture the film’s sophisticated and glamorous look.” That glamour is evident in metallic and glitter finishes as well as jewel tones. The line is available now ($8.50, opi.com for stores), so check it out! Plus, see other shades we love in the gallery below!
