Karl Lagerfeld staged another spectacle of a show to reveal his spring collection, decorating the Grand Palais in Paris with wind turbines and solar panels for a “sustainable” kind of a feel. The grid motif of the eco-friendly decor carried through much of the designs, appearing both as bold geometric prints and delicate embroidery. Sticking with that environmental theme, flowers embellished the dresses, as did sea-inspired pearls, which appeared on heavily beaded chokers and bangles. Other standout extras included striped platforms, leather gloves, and a highly buzzed about item—a signature quilted Chanel bag encased in a hula hoop. Check out our favorite looks in the gallery.
