Karl Lagerfeld staged another spectacle of a show to reveal his spring collection, decorating the Grand Palais in Paris with wind turbines and solar panels for a “sustainable” kind of a feel. The grid motif of the eco-friendly decor carried through much of the designs, appearing both as bold geometric prints and delicate embroidery. Sticking with that environmental theme, flowers embellished the dresses, as did sea-inspired pearls, which appeared on heavily beaded chokers and bangles.
