Vamps: The Clueless–Downton Movie Mashup We Are Loving
Sep 25, 2012 @ 1:15 pm
This. Is. Incredible. You can thank the genius mind of Clueless writer Amy Heckerling—and your own breathless, Clueless-inspired Downton Abbey fan fiction—for Vamps, a movie that takes (essentially) Alicia Silverstone‘s Cher and pairs her with Dan Stevens‘s Matthew Crawley for a Clueless vampire revamp you never even knew you wanted (but, oh, how you did). Dion-Tai combo Krysten Ritter spews lines like “I didn’t put in rollers—I’m going to have coffin hair tomorrow!” and they even managed to get Wallace Shawn (Mr. Hall!) on board, trading in his teacher suits to play Stevens’s vamp-hating dad. In other words, we’ll be watching the trailer nonstop until the movie hits theaters in limited release November 2. Tell us: Are you excited for this Clueless nostalgia fest?
Plus, see a pink-boleroed Cher and more stylish movie bridesmaids!
