It may have been a scorching 90 degrees on the red (hot!) carpet at last night’s 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, but at least one actress managed to keep her cool. American Horror Story star Jessica Lange—who took home the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie—arrived for the big night wearing a red column dress by J. Mendel (and she’s not the only one who chose the designer), which she accessorized with a pair of gold sunglasses. Some leading ladies chose other ways to keep cool (ahem, Sofia Vergara in 175 carats of diamonds), but we’re kind of loving Lange’s bold eyewear move.
