It’s almost time, Upper East Siders! Gossip Girl returns for its final season October 8th, and we have a sneak peek at Blake Lively’s premiere look—a dress almost identical to the one Kate Middleton wore to the Olympic Concert back in May. The showrunners must be determined to continue the regal storyline from last season, because the flowing, lemon lace dress that (newlywed) Blake was spotted in is straight from Jenny Packham’s Spring 2012 runway, as is the bespoke teal creation designed for the Duchess of Cambridge. (And this isn’t the first time the Gossip Girls worked one of Catherine’s Packham dresses—check out the style Blair wore.) We can only hope that after last season’s “royal” wedding, complete with Kate and Pippa-inspired dresses, there’s more fairy-tale style—and story lines—to come from our favorite Manhattanites. Xoxo
