There’s a new woman responsible for making us fall into the Gap. The mega-brand, known best for its denim and stylish wardrobe staples, has just named Rebekka Bay creative director and head of global design, effective October 1. Formerly of H&M—she helped conceptualize, develop, and launch the COS brand under the Swedish retailer’s umbrella. Bay will oversee the women’s, men’s, 1969, accessories, and body lines. “Few brands in the world have the connection with customers that Gap enjoys today,” Bay said in a statement.  “I’m incredibly excited to join this talented team and bring Gap’s American casual style to more and more customers.” She comes in on the heels of Patrick Robinson, who left the company last year, and will be based at Gap’s New York headquarters. We can’t wait to see what Rebekka Bay has in store!

In the meantime, check out DVF’s line for Gap Kids!
