If you couldn’t get enough of Katniss’s sharp-shooting in The Hunger Games, then tune in tonight for the premiere of Revolution, a new drama from J.J. Abrams. Like Jennifer Lawrence, star JD Pardo honed his bull’s-eye with a Los Angeles-based archery trainer, and you’ll be equally impressed with his bow and arrow-wielding skills! In Revolution, Pardo plays a (possible) love interest for stunning newcomer Tracy Spiridakos’s lead character, Charlie. The action-packed show is set in a post-apocalyptic future where all forms of electricity have mysteriously ceased. As rogue communities struggle to survive against militant forces, Charlie sets out to find her missing brother and begins to uncover the truth about the power fail along the way. Tune in tonight at 10:00 p.m. EST on NBC.

Plus, check out what else we’re watching this season!

Sep 17, 2012 @ 5:48 pm

There’s a new woman responsible for making us fall into the Gap. The mega-brand, known best for its denim and stylish wardrobe staples, has just named Rebekka Bay creative director and head of global design, effective October 1. Formerly of H&M—she helped conceptualize, develop, and launch the COS brand under the Swedish retailer’s umbrella. Bay will oversee the women’s, men’s, 1969, accessories, and body lines. “Few brands in the world have the connection with customers that Gap enjoys today,” Bay said in a statement.  “I’m incredibly excited to join this talented team and bring Gap’s American casual style to more and more customers.” She comes in on the heels of Patrick Robinson, who left the company last year, and will be based at Gap’s New York headquarters. We can’t wait to see what Rebekka Bay has in store!

Black Halo Eve Launches at Neiman Marcus

Sep 17, 2012 @ 4:31 pm

Created by designer Laurel Berman, Black Halo has long been a ready-to-wear celebrity favorite on the red carpet—from Olivia Wilde to Maria Menounos to, most recently, Louise Roe at the MTV Video Music Awards. Now Berman is branching out into high-end evening gowns with her line Black Halo EVE, which just hit Neiman Marcus stores and ranges in price from $650 to $690. “The EVE aesthetic is different in that it is an evening collection that is clean and tailored, without the embellishment,” Berman exclusively told InStyle.com. “As a woman, I look for a gown that has minimal details, is well-cut, and tailored to fit. My desire is for women to feel so amazing in a Black Halo EVE gown that their confidence shines.” Amen! Visit blackhalo.com for additional information and click through the gallery to see more of the beautiful designs.

Kate Middleton’s Diamond Jubilee Tour Style

Sep 17, 2012 @ 4:14 pm

The Diamond Jubilee Tour continues—and Kate Middleton has chosen a gorgeous look for each and every stop of her Southeast Asia trip. To date, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William have visited Singapore, Malaysia, and the Solomon Islands, and while Catherine may be far from home, she hasn’t strayed a bit from her favorite British fashion labels. Kate’s worn custom looks in modest cuts like Jenny Packham‘s pink pleats (hand-painted by De Gourmay, the designer told us) and icy blue lace from Temperley. Check out the below gallery of Kate Middleton’s tour looks thus far. And stay tuned for more!

Creative Arts Emmys Red Carpet Winners

Sep 17, 2012 @ 3:36 pm

The Creative Arts Emmys took place at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles yesterday, and we got a sneak peek into what sorts of styles we might be able to expect at the Primetime Emmy Awards, airing this Sunday at 7 p.m. EST on ABC. The big winner was HBO’s Game of Thrones, which took home six trophies. But the real victor, in our eyes, was Mad Men‘s Christina Hendrickswho—per usual—was a complete knockout in a black-and-cream floral asymmetrical gown from Jenny Packham‘s Fall 2012 collection. NFL, Lady Gaga Style

Sep 17, 2012 @ 3:18 pm

With the Seattle Seahawks’ big win against the Dallas Cowboys last night and millions of fans counting down to tonight’s Monday Night Football showdowns, we’ve got NFL on the brain! And we’re not the only ones: Lady Gaga seems to be having quite the football moment herself. First, the performer sported a sequined New York Giants jersey, and then the Fame fragrance creator sat front row at celebrity milliner Philip Treacy’s London Fashion Week show—after opening the event!—in a helmet-shaped bouquet of flowers, which she paired with a green velvet bustier dress and lace boots by Alexander McQueen. We’re quite intrigued by Gaga’s fascination with football, and particularly her penchant for wearing interpretations of its uniform. Could 10-inch heel-less cleats be far behind? Tell us in comments, do you wear football-themed fashions?
