It’s been four days since Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married (with a little help from pal Martha Stewart) at The Notebook Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. We already know that the Gossip Girl wore a one-of-a-kind couture Marchesa wedding gown, which featured a “hand-draped silk tulle bodice adorned with custom crystal and rose gold embroidery,” according to a press statement released by the brand. Enter Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, who we caught up with at her New York Fashion Week show, where she told InStyle.com exclusively that working with Lively had—not surprisingly—gorgeous results. “She’s very creative, and she’s a brilliant stylist herself,” Chapman said of the actress. “She really knows what works. We’re good friends so it was a wonderful collaboration.” A match made in fashion heaven, we’d say. The Marchesa mastermind also told us that the bridesmaid dresses were blush.
