What is that? That’s the question our InStyle editors and everyone else, for that matter, were asking as Diane von Furstenberg’s models strutted down the catwalk with what looked like wire-rimmed bifocals with a colored strip attached to one lens. It’s called Glass, a new interactive technology that was recording the entire show from the models’ perspective. The designer herself wore the gadget during her finale bows—she retrieved collaborator and Google co-founder Sergey Brin from his front-row seat to walk the runway with her. The resulting footage will be made into a short film, DVF through Glass, that will come out September 13th on google.com/+dvf.
