Monique Lhuillier premiered her first collection of shoes at last night’s runway show. “The inspiration was strong, sexy women, it can’t be too pretty,” the designer said backstage. “There has to be something interesting about it—that was the multiple straps and the mixture of fabrics.” As she told us exclusively back in July, she designed 15 styles for spring, with prices ranging from $595 to $1,195.
