The MTV Video Music Awards honor the best and brightest of the music industry and are always an amazing show for lovers of fun fashion. But this year, we saw a turn for monochromatic (and dare we say, more mature!) looks from the stars on the red carpet. Rihanna stunned in a gorgeous white open-back gown and her new short pixie cut, Taylor Swift (though we thought she would go for all red) also opted for an all-white J. Mendel silk crepe pantsuit, Miley Cyrus showed off her new short platinum ‘do with a long black gown from Emilio Pucci, and P!nk chose a floor-length Stella McCartney silver gown.
