BCBG kicked off New York Fashion Week with a bold collection of contrasts: black and white, leather and lace, masculine and feminine. The femme fatale designs were inspired by German artist Helmut Newton‘s seductive photography and juxtaposed sculptural harnesses with airy fabrics and peek-a-boo details. In fact, InStyle‘s own Ariel Foxman loved the contrast. Not to be outdone by the clothes, standout accessories like oversize clutches and ankle-cuff platforms shared the spotlight.
