When you date Kanye West, you don’t just get a boyfriend—you get a stylist, too! The rapper-turned-designer recently appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where he combed through girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s closet, advising her on which items to keep and which to toss. ”Having a stylish boyfriend who has helped introduce me to things and opened up my vision has been an inspiration and has helped me change it up, and become more sophisticated,” Kardashian said of his influence. (Case in point: From a tiger print print mini to shopping at the Céline boutique in Paris wearing couture Stephane Rolland). And she’s doing something good with her unwanted apparel. After last night’s episode, Kim tweeted: “The clothes I got rid of on tonight’s episode will be up on eBay next month for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church.” Starting next month, you can shop Kim K’s closet here, with the proceeds going to charity. Like they say, one’s trash is another’s treasure!

Click through the gallery to see more of this year’s outfits, and stay tuned to see more looks as the competition progresses, from now through September 9th.
Ever since McKayla Maroney landed herself back in the United States after an amazing run at the 2012 London Olympics, we’ve gotten a chance to see the 16-year-old’s off-the-mat style. And, unlike her viral Internet meme, we are impressed! This power vaulter favors body-con dresses in neutral colors, like black peplum look she wore on the Late Show With David Letterman in New York and the cutout style she paired with metallic sandals for this week’s appearance on Extra, which earned Maroney her first spot ever in our Look of the Day section. We look forward to seeing more from her—on and off the mat!

It’s no secret that we love creative manicure effects, which is why we’re excited to hear that Deborah Lippmann just released magnetic nail polishes! Her three versatile shades impart a design on each digit when you hover a patterned magnet over a fresh layer of lacquer. To achieve the effect, just paint on two even coats, and while your nails are still wet, hold the magnet as close as you can without touching the polish. A few seconds should do the trick. The longer you keep the magnet in place, the more defined the pattern will be. Buy the set for $29 at deborahlippmann.com.
