Both stylists decided to go with an edgy style that really pushed the envelope since Moss wanted to go shorter. “I tweaked the color a bit to go with this cut,” Buckler said. “Elisabeth’s skin tone is perfect for this shade, which makes her eyes really pop.” Thinking of making the cut like Moss? Goodbye dark brown, hello ombre! Kim Kardashian debuted a new highlighted style over Twitter this weekend, a hair makeover done courtesy of hairstylist George Papanikolas of Andy Lecompte Salon. “I changed her from her traditional dark brown, to a more fashionable glossy chocolate brown,” said Papanikolas, who used a combination of Joico’s Base Breaker and Balayage highlights to create the effect—a gradient from “deep, dark chocolate to milk chocolate ends.” If you’re channeling blonder ambitions like the star, make sure to switch out your regular shampoos for more nourishing formulas. “It’s important to protect the hair color to keep it rich and luxurious,” he added. Papanikolas recommends using the Joico K-Pak Color Therapy shampoo ($14; joico.com for locations) in conjunction with the Revitaluxe conditioner ($40; joico.com for locations) to keep your strands soft and fade-proof.
