Nicki Minaj is joining American Idol! News of the Barbie-loving rapper casting was confirmed today by Us Weekly. This is exciting Diva Watch news: After Jennifer Lopez‘s endless parade of fashion for the last two seasons, the Judges Table had a big fashion void to fill. Now with Minaj and her quirky style set to be there every week in addition to The One and Only Mariah, we really can’t wait to tune in. American Idol returns January 2013. I watched the first season of AI and have watched most years since.
Minaj’s performance style and general themes offend me so much that I will not watch AI next season!
Not even the beautiful Mariah Carey can lure me back to AI. When Minaj is fired then I’ll start watching again.
