Jennifer Lopez InStyle September 2012Michelangelo Di Battista

The world’s a stage for Jennifer Lopez! In our September issue, our cover girl—actress, singer, entrepreneur, and mom—talks about her everlasting career (complete with her first-ever world tour), her hot romance (with dancer beau Casper Smart), and how she survived the tough times“You realize that those difficult moments, the times when you feel pain, are when you do a lot of your growing,” the 43-year-old told InStyle. “You realize: There’s no reason to be terrified of things. Either way I’m going to be OK.” Which is why, even after all of her experiences, she’s willing to give romance another shot. “The hard part is that you never stop believing in love. But that’s also the best part. You never stop believing, and you never, ever give up.” And even at superstar status, she worries just like every other mom. “I feel the pressures of wanting to be a great parent and of wanting to do right by my children. Being a mom, or a dad, is the most important job there is. It doesn’t matter who you are. You have to embrace it for everything that it is.” And she does, just like everything else in her life. For more of our exclusive interview, pick up the 652-page September issue, on newsstands Friday, August 17th.

J-Lo is a beautiful woman, but is that really enough for her to grace the cover of your biggest issue of the year? She has no movie career, is off “American Idol,” and has a string of failed marriages. I expect better of InStyle. But I guess it’s enough to have your success centered on a clothing line these days to get a coveted cover spot.

Also a bit disappointed that she is on another cover. She is on enough covers of the tabloids these days with Casper, her lawsuits, back to being, well, JLO. Idol was the best thing that ever happened to her and now that’s over. Not sure what this woman is really all about. Good luck to her though. She is constantly in a state of flux.

I am glad to see Jennifer Lopez to be on the cover of InStlye, She had accomplished a lot of this over the years and especially since last year to now. Congrat s Jennifer Lopez!

I agree, and to be honest the cover isn’t very fashion forward for it to be a “super fall fashion mega issue”. I’m kinda over JLo, if they wanted a strong Latina I’m sure there are better examples out there that could have been uber glammed up. She wasn’t even that glamourous on the cover. I honestly was kind of bored with it. Sorry instyle, you didn’t meet my expectations. Maybe take a few pointers from vogue?

Dwayne is considered as black even tho he is proud of both his smaoan side and his african american side. Because he is half black he is considered to be black just like Halle Berry and Alica Keys and The Game (rapper).
