Marchesa and Reem Acra to Release Perfumes

Bridal and eveningwear powerhouses Marchesa and Reem Acra bottled up their signature femininity for fall, as both will release their debut fragrances next season. First up is Marchesa’s Parfume d’Extase, a scent containing notes of of iris, freesia, violet, and jasmine that will roll out at Sephora stores for $25 to $85 starting August 28th. Reem Acra will follow with an eponymous perfume featuring notes of orange, pear, bergamot, and ginger, available at Saks Fifth Avenue stores for $35 to $125 in October. Fall is going to smell so pretty!

The Queen of the Nile is back! Almsot 50 years after Elizabeth Taylor brought the Egyptian monarch to the big screen, Britney Spears struck a pose in head-to-toe gold for a photo shoot for her next fragrance, which comes out this September. “Channeling my inner Cleopatra today,” she Tweeted. Jaime King Does What We All Do: Research Outfits!

Jaime King loves to pick out clothes, which is why she creates every look herself, sans stylist. “I’m such a fashion person that I love to choose things myself,” the Hart of Dixie star told InStyle.com at our annual Summer Soiree in Beverly Hills this week. “I look at my favorite designers and I choose and I pick, and then I call the designers.” And that includes the one-shoulder ruffle Marchesa design she wore to the event, which she spotted after looking at the label’s new resort collection. “For this one, I called Marchesa because I loved this dress,” she said. “I said I would really love to wear it.” She did the same with her Jimmy Choo heels. “I put it all together,” she said. “It is important to do the research yourself. First Look: Nicole Richie Models Her Macy’s Collection

Nicole Richie collection for Macy’s Impulse department doesn’t arrive for another few weeks, but here is a first look at what you can expect—a mix of floaty floral boho dresses, tailored, panelled separates, and ’70s-inspired prints all in the bohemian style that has become her signature. “I worked extremely hard with Macy’s to create a collection that stayed true to my own aesthetic, so representing my designs in the advertising campaign was a welcome opportunity,” she said in a statement. The entire collection will be available for under $150 when it hits stores and macys.com this September.

This Week’s Parties: Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and More

Serena co-stars Jennifer Lawrence (in Narciso Rodriguez) and Bradley Cooper reunited at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s annual installation luncheon, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Cooper kicked off the afternoon by introducing the HFPA’s President, while Mad Men star Christina Hendricks accepted grants on behalf of documentary programs. The event served for a good cause, too, with the HFPA donating over $1.5 million to non-profit entertainment-related organizations and scholarship programs. Click through the gallery to see more stars at this week’s hottest parties.
