Nastia Liukin’s Thoughts on Gymnastics Competition Hair

From hair clips to scrunchies to glitter-flecked strands, gymnasts at the Olympics get a lot of attention for their hair. Now that the sport is all wrapped up—congrats on your gold medals Fab Five!—we caught up with 2008 all-around champion and new face of Tigi hair products Nastia Liukin to find out the details behind her looks on and off the floor. “Looking confident when you perform is so important,” Liukin told InStyle.com. “When you look confident, you feel confident. Brian Atwood’s Custom Shoes for Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has been doing some shopping in New York this week, making stops at Chanel and Vera Wang, and Tweeting her updates to her 28.1 million Twitter followers throughout her travels. And there’s one person who’s particularly excited about her buying bonanza—shoe designer Brian Atwood, who created the towering heels the Mother Monster wore to cavort around town. Dallas: Finale Fashion Details!

Last night was the season finale of Dallas, and the outfits were just as dramatic as the plotlines! All season long, the show’s costume designer, Rachel Sage Kunin, has been giving us the inside details why she chose each look, and for the last episode, she wanted to make every piece count since so many secrets were revealed. “In this scene, the audience finds out what Rebecca could ultimately be after—revenge,” Kunin told InStyle.com. “I wanted her to look drastically different for this big cliffhanger, so I moved her away from the soft colors we’ve gotten to know her in and put her in all black.” What was your favorite outfit this season? And she, like Pippa, likes to keep things understated.” No wonder both girls looked so classically chic in the brand’s blue trenches.
