In Miranda Lambert’s new Thelma and Louise-themed music video for “Fastest Girl in Town,” the country singer “borrows” a car she’s eyeing at a local bar with a little help from a pro: NASCAR driver Danica Patrick. The two pull off a very stylish robbery—car chase and all! ”When I first read the script for the video, it made me think of The Dukes of Hazzard, but it really needed to be timeless,” Lambert’s stylist Tiffany Gifford told InStyle.com. “To do that, I got distressed, slim boot-cut Seven for All Mankind jeans and topped them with a vintage style Free People tank. It wanted the look to feel lived in—as if Miranda and Danica would have had these pieces in their closets forever—but it also had to have a sexy, bad girl ‘I might steal your car’ vibe.” See if Miranda and Danica in the video above, then click “See the Photos” for more behind-the-scenes details about their robbery-inspired style.

I am a big Miranda Lambert Fan, and an even bigger fan of Nascar. But, I do not like this video at all. Pretty hair and clothes on both and cute guy, but whole video sucked. Sorry but it did.

In the song the lyrics say “65 can really haul some ass” however the car they are driving is a Camaro which the first year was 1967. Perhaps singers should put a little research into their songs???

I agree with Walt. My husband is a Camaro whiz and he noticed immediately that the song says “65 can really haul some ass” but the Camaro they jack is a 69. Holllywood producers are so disconnected with “real” America things of this nature doesn’t even cross their mind. They do not care who notices. DO RESEARCH!!! My husband has rubbed off on me so now I start noticing things like hair parted on one side in a scene and then in a flash in the same scene the part is on a different side…or background items change from scene to scene…we, the people of real America, DO NOT MISS THIS STUFF! We are REAL!!!
