Katie Couric’s new show Katie debuts in 46 days and she has one thing to ask her future audience: “Are you ready for this day?” The question is the headlining message of her new theme song, which was revealed today on katiecouric.com. Sheryl Crow composed and sung the number, which includes inspirational lyrics such as “you’re getting stronger every step you take” and “we’re on our way.” “Katie is somebody I can talk to about the things so many of us juggle: our children, careers, health, and balancing our personal and professional lives,” Crow said of why she created the tune. “I think her show will reflect the same kind of heart and energy I try to give my music, so ‘This Day’ was a fun project to work on together, as friends.” Give the song a listen by watching the video above.
