On Glee, we never thought anyone could get between Rachel and Finn—well, other than Quinn and Puck—but for season four, there’s a new third-party involved. Meet Dean Geyer, the 26-year-old South African who will play Brody Weston, the first guy Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry meets when she arrives in New York. “I’m excited because I get to do two things that I love, acting and singing,” Geyer told InStyle.com at the FOX TCA party in Los Angeles last night. “There’s nothing better.” Click through the gallery to learn more about this newbie cast member! And mark your calendars: Glee returns to FOX September 13th.

Darren Criss is excited to get back to filming Glee soon, and it doesn’t take much to get him into character. “I’m lucky, I can step into it,” he told us at last night’s FOX TCA party in Los Angeles. “They slicked my hair back and then I was there.” Aside from some good hair gel, the clothes help, too: “I have to wear things that are always a bit smaller than what I would wear,” he said. “Blaine’s whole wardrobe is based on Thom Browne and Brooks Brothers—the high pants and tight shirt. He has a distinct wardrobe.” Criss’s off-duty style diverges greatly, opting for a less buttoned-up look, but still pulled together. “I’m very different from Blaine,” he said, adding (jokingly) that he dresses himself. “I do work with my stylist, but believe it or not, I do put my legs into my own pants and I get to say yes, no, maybe so. I’ve had to tie a few ties for some of the boys here.” Charming!

This is an afternoon break worth taking—MTV is giving their ’90s hit House of Style a 2012 revamp, and to celebrate, they’ve opened the show’s digital archive, featuring over 150 clips! A quick browse on style.mtv.com brought up vintage videos of the Spice Girls shopping at ’90s mall staple Contempo Casuals, and Karl Lagerfeld giving a backstage interview at Paris Fashion Week circa 1992 (“They are the image-makers of today, the goddesses of the silent screen,” he says of supermodels). Marc Jacobs’s newest fragrance Dot is here! Appropriately housed in a ladybug-themed polka-dot bottle, Dot is the third scent in the designer’s garden series, making it the little sister to the ever-popular Daisy and Lola perfumes. “A dot is timeless and a pattern I always love, and round shapes are always beautiful,” Jacobs said of the scent’s packaging. “And, of course, ladybugs mean good luck.” In addition to the playful bottle, we love the sweet, summery blend of notes like red berries, dragon fruit, and orange blossom. Pick up a bottle for $89 at marcjacobs.com. Plus, have you tried any other Marc Jacobs perfumes? See them all in the gallery!
An expectant Camila Alves (in I.N.C International Concepts) joined husband Matthew McConaughey on the red carpet for the New York screening of his latest film, Killer Joe, hosted by the Cinema Society, Bally, and DeLeón. In the movie, McConaughey plays a cop hired by Emile Hirsch to kill his mother. “He’s charismatic and he’s handsome, which is why you don’t expect him as a killer,” screenwriter Tracy Letts told InStyle.com of the choice to cast McConaughey as a hit man.
