Xena Inspires the Military to Give the Ladies a Makeover
Jul 11, 2012 @ 5:30 pmThe Army is giving its female fighters a makeover—inspired by Xena, the Warrior Princess! According to Army engineers, new uniforms have been designed to give our military women more protection, with a little more wiggle room for natural curves. “Some people would like to eventually make plates so it’s like Xena: Warrior Princess and conforms to the shape,” Lieutenant Colonel Frank Lozano told Christian Science Monitor. Fierce! Women in the Army can look forward to eight new sizes of female body armor with narrower shoulders and Xena’s bra-shaped darting at the chest. Life does imitate art!
