Magic is in the air at the Christian Louboutin headquarters! After the designer announced in April that he would put his signature sexy stamp on one of the most iconic accessories in fairytale history, the brand released the first photo of the slipper today. ”Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, Cinderella has a red sole shoe,” the brand posted on its Facebook wall with this picture, featuring a crystal-covered design with butterfly accents. And Loub lovers are quick to show their approval: Within four hours of the post going up, over 18,000 people liked it, 2,000 shared it, and 600 commented. These definitely spark a discussion! Tell us: Would you want you to wear these? Let us know in the comments!

I am 62 years old, haven’t worn heels in years and I LOVE these! How neat.

-dianne on July 6th, 2012

I agree with Diane, I absolutely love these shoes…..and as a 55 year old grandma, I would love to have these shoes, I’d find somewhere to wear them……but, atlas…..they probably cost more than what my income is for one month!!! They must make the lady wearing them feel majical !!!!!! what girl doesnt want to be Cinderella?

-cindy on July 7th, 2012

I think they are tacky and not at all something a Princess would wear. With the butterflies they look more like something Maria Carey would wear. A big miss CL. :(

-Kelli on July 7th, 2012

Absolutely love them.

-Merle Suhayda on July 7th, 2012

They are simply gorgeous! Elegant Fun…I would so wear them for my wedding or a special event. Where can I get a pair?

-A'Jay on July 8th, 2012

Listen, these shoes would go on my feet and my feet would never touch the ground. That’s all I’m saying.

To Become Cindrella Is No Longer A Dream,

-Shyna on July 8th, 2012

I think these shoes were designed for me. I can’t find shoes to wear on my wedding day right now. I have always been a lover and collector of Cinderella stories. My engagement ring is two butterflies holding up the center stone. My theme for my wedding has butterflies all over it and will take place at historic Woodland Plantation in October. These shoes would be perfect, but probably cost more than my entire wedding! I designed and made my wedding dress and veil, so the shoes are the only thing I’m got left to buy.

-Lisa on July 8th, 2012

I absolutely LOVE them!!! I want them sooo bad! Beautiful!!

-Angie on July 9th, 2012

Who can walk in these shose? They are beautiful and are made for a fairytale, thats it fairytale Are fairytales real?. C. L. shoes are not designed for walking in. You get dropped off at the door, and walk into the event and sit down. How far would you get down the aisle in these shoes. His shoes are not made for walking. Your dogs would be barking (your feet) beautiful to look at.

-NGOZI on July 9th, 2012

-Joann Smith on July 9th, 2012

These shoes are sooooo pretty. I do not wear heels cause of back issues. But I would gladly wear these shoes. So what if I sat most of the time. I wear new balance 99% of the time but I really want these. Obviously I am not the only one. ANyone find a price yet?

-S JAy on July 10th, 2012

When I read the article I thought, how can you improve on glass slippers? When I saw the picture I was amazed. What a great mind this designer has. These are by far the most beautiful shoes I have ever seen. If I wasn’t old (62) and had 62-year-old feet that only see sandals and tennis shoes, I would make sure to find a place to wear them and buy a pair. I love Cinderella and all the magic and these shoes fit right in. Good job Christian. Keep our magic fairy tales alive especially for the older generation.

-Terri on July 10th, 2012

I would want to wear these shoes everyday. If it weren’t for the mere fact of nastiness and feet swelling in them, I would even want to wear them to bed. How beautiful a shoe it is! Okay, I need to drop these into my Wish List bucket.
Thank You for sharing.

-Keisha on July 10th, 2012

OMIGAAAD! Normally, I am NOT a heels type of girl (it took a Herculean effort just to get me out of my tennis-shoes-only routine and into ballet flats) but I wouldn’t hesitate to put these babies on! They’re absolutely gorgeous – if they were anywhere near my price range (HA!) I’d grab them in a nanosecond! Unfortunately, they probably cost more than I could ever dream of affording. Sigh. Guess I’ll have to satisfy myself with shoe porn…

-Rebecca on July 10th, 2012

I stopped playing dress-up when I was 5. Get real people.

-Rose on July 10th, 2012

-heather on July 10th, 2012

I don’t care if these shoes feel like walking on razor blades. They are fabulous, I love ‘em, and if I couldn’t find a special occasion, I’d throw on some jeans and wear them to the grocery store.

-Stephanie on July 11th, 2012

-marivel escobedo on July 12th, 2012

These shoes are just magical and I have a Granddaughter that is a teen ager and is fighting PANDAS and I know it would be a delight to for here to wear these…… Congragulations to the designer for a beautiful style and none of us would kid our selves if we said we wouldn’t like to wear them ourselves.

-Karen on July 12th, 2012

I would love to win a pair for my daughter-in-law to be !!!!

-Sandria on July 13th, 2012

I would love to win a pair for my daughters wedding. :)

-Regina Larvie on July 13th, 2012

I love these shoes!

-Kelly on July 15th, 2012

I don’t think that they are pretty at all. Plus. Cinderella wore GLASS slippers. those don’t look like anything that cinderella would wear.. I’m kind of disapointed.

-Macaria on July 15th, 2012

They are beautiful, I really like for Cinderella, it’s kind of my little dream to have these shoes … :-)

-Karla Kobsová on August 25th, 2012

Wow!!!!!iwant them, but they would immediately go into a glass case for display!!!! They are absolutely gorgeous!!! I am the director of a breast cancer foundation in Alabama and these shoes would be unbelievably perfect for a statewide project we are developing ,,spectacular!!!
