First Look: Jennifer Hudson’s New QVC Collection

Jennifer Hudson recently announced that she designed an eponymous collection for QVC. And last night, the Oscar-winning American Idol alum gave us a first peek at the looks! “I wanted to focus on being comfortable, but being cute at the same time,” she told InStyle.com. “I was [inspired by] Michael Kors, because I feel that he focuses on the ‘real woman,’ you know? Every curve.” Hudson’s lineup boasts classic styles like cozy sheaths, tailored coats, and slimming leggings—”I am loving those,” she said—all for less than $170. Big Ben Gets a New Name: Meet (Queen) Elizabeth Tower!

Don’t call it Big Ben—it’s now Elizabeth Tower! Parliament just approved the London landmark’s renaming in honor of Queen Elizabeth‘s Diamond Jubilee—her 60th year on the throne. Fun fact: “Ben” only refers to the giant bell at the top of the tower, though the nickname has extended to the entire structure in recent years.
