Emma Stone’s Custom Dress: Designer Andrew Gn Explains
Jun 22, 2012 @ 12:15 pmEmma Stone packed a pretty wardrobe for her world tour to promote The Amazing Spider-Man, including this little white dress with a lace-up neckline that she wore for the Berlin premiere. The design was entirely custom, thanks to the collaboration between her stylist Petra Flannery and designer Andrew Gn. “Petra and I chose that particular dress for Emma, thinking that its smart and crisp look would perfectly fit her natural elegance,” Gn (shown inset) told InStyle.com exclusively of the look, which he adapted from the black velvet version shown on his fall 2012 runway. “We thought a white version for a summer event would enhance even more Emma’s exceptional radiance and charisma.” And he was pleased with how it turned out once she hit the red carpet: “I’m thrilled with the way she looks, graceful, easy, and extremely chic,” he told us. “A true princess with a brilliant future ahead.” Success!
