Matthew McConaughey stopped by The Tonight Show last night, where he chatted with host Jay Leno about how he proposed to now-wife Camila Alves and his 72-hour wedding. “We put 40 tents up in the yard,” the actor told Leno. “This was her idea. She [Camila] said, ‘I want to build a village.” In addition to the air-conditioned tents, 17 family members stayed in the newlyweds’ house. “It was wonderful chaos,” said McConaughey. The guests’ agenda included a sushi dinner on the couple’s lawn, a dance party that lasted until 3:30am, a crayfish boil, and a Southern barbeque. One guest even gifted the newlyweds a sword “for the couple who has everything.” Sounds like a wedding to remember! Watch the full clip above.
