The ombre trend is still going strong, and Aubrey Plaza is the latest star to try it out, showing off new lightened ends at the 2012 Young Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles a few days ago. “I had it done for a movie I just shot,” the Parks and Recreation actress told InStyle.com. “I was playing a character with dreadlocks and just left it in. I might get rid of it this week since I don’t feel like myself, but I’m getting used to it!” What do you think of her look? Tell us in the comments!

Matthew McConaughey stopped by The Tonight Show last night, where he chatted with host Jay Leno about how he proposed to now-wife Camila Alves and his 72-hour wedding. “We put 40 tents up in the yard,” the actor told Leno. “This was her idea. She [Camila] said, ‘I want to build a village.” In addition to the air-conditioned tents, 17 family members stayed in the newlyweds’ house. “It was wonderful chaos,” said McConaughey. The guests’ agenda included a sushi dinner on the couple’s lawn, a dance party that lasted until 3:30am, a crayfish boil, and a Southern barbeque. One guest even gifted the newlyweds a sword “for the couple who has everything.” Sounds like a wedding to remember! Watch the full clip above.

While celebrity stylist Leslie Fremar has an eye for dressing her clients—Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson, and Reese Witherspoon—in beautiful designer gowns, her expertise is also in something we all know, wear, and love: Basics. Last year, she teamed up with Fruit of the Loom to launch a capsule of tanks and tees, and it went so well, she came back this season for round two, complete with new silhouettes, colors, leggings, dresses, and more. “I saw a need in the market for these staple pieces—the pieces that I like to wear—and so I felt inspired to create them,” she told InStyle.com. And this isn’t another stylist-turned-designer story, that’s for sure. “I know a lot about clothes, fabrics, and fit, but I’m not a designer,” she said. “I just know what people need and they like, so I go from there.” How true—who doesn’t need more great basics? Shop the collection for $22 to $50, now at Bloomingdale’s.

Angelina Jolie is bringing Sleeping Beauty‘s glamorous villain to life! The actress stars as the titular character in Maleficent, Disney’s upcoming live-action version of the classic fairytale, and the photo above is the first look at her evil sorceress style. True to the 1959 cartoon feature, Jolie wears a horn-topped headpiece and blood red lipstick. “I hope in the end you see a woman who is capable of being many things, and just because she protects herself and is aggressive, it doesn’t mean she can’t have other warmer qualities,” the actress, who plays opposite Elle Fanning‘s Princess Aurora in the film, told EW. “You have to figure out the puzzle of what she is.” We can’t wait to see Jolie’s take Mistress of All Evil when the movie lands in theaters March 2014.

Brooklyn-based jewelry company Digby & Iona just launched a line of one-of-a-kind engagement rings. It’s a project that came to fruition after five years, as designer Aaron Ruff hand-picked each stone and designed according to its shape and size. ”Honestly, I just laid them out and the pieces designed themselves,” he says of the rings, each one named each after a character from cult-classic films like The Princess Bride and Labyrinth. “These stones were a natural fit, the crazy range of colors and imperfection made them so much more interesting than your run-of-the-mill brilliant cut.” See a selection from the line and read more about its creation in the gallery.
