Revenge Star Ashley Madekwe’s Wedding Details

While Ashley Madekwe may have just tied the knot with her longtime beau Iddo Goldberg this weekend, the Revenge star has been finalizing her wedding details since we caught up with her back in February at InStyle‘s Hollywood Oscar viewing party. “I know that we’re having vintage crockery or vintage mismatched plates and cups,” Madekwe told us. “I know that the flowers will be peonies.” At the time, the actress still hadn’t picked out her wedding dress, but in keeping with her vintage theme, she did hint that the pros at Decades were helping her decide on retro gown. We can’t wait to see photos!

Jennifer Hudson to Launch QVC Line

Jennifer Hudson is now a fashion designer! The Oscar-winning American Idol alum just announced that she partnered with QVC for her first fashion line, a budget-friendly collection designed for all body shapes. “I feel like I represent every woman,” Hudson told WWD. “I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it—no matter what size you are—and you could feel comfortable in it.” Though Hudson has dabbled in design before—she had a hand in designing the wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials to David Otunga—this will be her first full line, complete with skirts, leggings, and outerwear, with no piece exceeding $170. Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake” Video: Exclusive Manicure Details!

Katy Perry is awake, everyone! Her new video for “Wide Awake” just came out, and it illustrates her dark-to-light transformation—emotionally and stylistically—representative of her life after splitting from husband Russell Brand. (Scroll through to 3:32 to see her knock out Prince Charming.) The video features the pop superstar in an array of looks, from candy-inspired stage costumes to a dark goth beginning to a floral fairytale ending. The final look is one of our favorites, as it features one of the most over-the-top manicures we’ve seen worn by Perry—flower-embellished 3D nails. “Katy’s floral nails were inspired by the dress she was wearing,” her manicurist Kimmie Kyees told InStyle.com exclusively. “Her stylist and I spoke about the colors, and decided on pastels. We tried a nude nail with pastel French tips, but felt they should be more magical.” To add wonder, Kyees deconstructed larger flowers so they would fit on the nail, and let two vines cascade from the singer’s talons. “Katy loved the nails so much, she tweeted them, and we packaged them up for the label in case they want to give them away or auction them off in the future,” she added. For the down-under premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman in Sydney, Australia, leading star Kristen Stewart chose an ornate two-piece look straight off the fall 2012 Balmain runway. Look closely, and you’ll notice how the actress styled the rhinestone and pearl-covered, embroidered design a little different than her model counterpart, ditching the belt and ankle booties for a subtle peek at her midriff and sparkly stilettos by Christian Louboutin.
