Salma Hayek is InStyle’s July cover girl! In this issue, this star opens up about the key to success—the necessary blend of work and play. “I have created a very happy, healthy environment,” Hayek says of maintaining balance. “When a job is over, I go home to my life.” By her cheerful side is husband Francois-Henri Pinault, CEO of PPR—the Paris-based conglomerate whose labels include Bottega Veneta and Yves Saint Laurent. “He’s very romantic, and so am I,” she says of Pinault, who she married in 2009. “What’s really romantic are the moments that are unexpected. You can fly somewhere overnight to make [being together] ‘important,’ but it’s the little things of everyday life that count.” Their daughter together, Valentina, also provides infinite joy. “This morning I was feeling jet-lagged,” she tells. “I was still in bed when I heard somebody run into the room. Valentina jumped on my bed and hugged me, and I go, ‘What are you doing? You scared me!’ She started giggling and said to me, ‘You desperately needed my energy.’ I was so surprised she said that. A four-year-old! And she’s holding me, and it’s so beautiful—and she was so right!” For more of our exclusive interview, pick up the new issue on newsstands Friday, and catch Hayek on the big screen taking on a badass role in Oliver Stone’s new thriller, Savages, out July 6th.

Salma Hayek should get a divorce from her deadbeat dad husband Francois-Henri Pinault as soon as possible. Pinault was extremely cruel to abandon his son with Linda Evangelista and Hayek should have never become romantically involved with Pinault because of this. It is very obvious that Pinault has a very serious character flaw. Now is the time for consumers and investors to punish Pinault for abandoning his son. Everyone should boycott his companies, stop watching his French soccer team and refuse to buy shares of stock in his companies. Salma Hayek’s products (including her movies and television shows) should also be boycotted until she divorces Pinault.
