Many of the jewels came directly from Waterman’s pre-existing or vintage collections, some designs were gently altered for the film, and a couple of special rings were created for Charlize Theron and Kirsten Stewart. “Everything just felt right,” explained Atwood. “We maxed out on Cathy’s jewelry, because it was so fantastic.
