The 65th annual Cannes Film Festival kicked off yesterday, and all fashion eyes are on one of the hottest red carpets of the year. Black dominated the Riviera today: We spotted Jessica Chastain in polka dot Dolce & Gabbana, Marion Cotillard in a sweetheart neckline Christian Dior design, Freida Pinto in sheer beaded Versace, and Eva Longoria in an inky tulle Alberta Ferretti gown. Tell us, which noir look is your favorite?

Eva Longoria wins; she knows how to dress and what colors look best on her! Jane Fonda also deserves honors for both her black and white, and pink gowns.
There were other lovely gowns, but unfortunately, most of them did little to flatter the people wearing them. Jessica Chastain’s pink gown was gorgeous, but both the gown and the actress were lost because she is so fair complected. There were others who fell victim to the same problem. The most striking error in judgement was Tilda Swinton! Yikes; what was she thinking?
