Katy Perry’s 3D Floral Nails: All the Details!

After Katy Perry tweeted a picture of her pastel French manicure with 3D roses last week, we caught up with her manicurist Kimmie Kyees to find out why. Turns out, the botanical talons will be featured in an upcoming project. “I went into my kit and I found these flowers I bought years ago,” Kyees said of the design. “I never knew what to do with them because they were a bit large, but then it hit me—tear them apart and use the pieces!” Kyees made examples for Perry, and the nails were a hit on the set. “She loved them so much, she tweeted them, and we packaged them up for the label in case they want to give them away or auction them off in the future.” Either way, we hope these innovative designs make a reappearance sometime soon.

Justin Timberlake’s Home Collection: Now Available

Justin Timberlake’s foray into home goods is now here! HomeMint, a new wallet-friendly collection of home goods he created in collaboration with interior decorator and celebrity stylist Estee Stanley just launched this week. “For me, designing a house is just like a bigger canvas than styling, and it actually lasts longer,” Stanley said of her approach to the line, which includes dinnerware, rugs, pillows, and more. The two have a long relationship together: Not only did the pair become fast friends after Stanley decorated Timberlake’s homes, she also styles his fiancé, Jessica Biel. “For this, it was a no-brainer that I wanted to do it with him,” she said. “Men think so differently from women and I wanted to have that in the whole collaboration.” Timberlake agrees: “Each thing that we have has a masculine-feminine quality to it.” For the line, the pair work as curators rather than designers, collaborating with designers to produce unique items (like Matteo for bedding and towels and Medina for baskets). There is, however, one item straight from the creativity well of JT himself—two photographs of New York’s skylines. “I have a lot of photos that I’ve taken that I put in my house,” he explained. “This just seemed like a cool thing to do. Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt Book New Perfume Campaigns

Brad Pitt and Gwyneth Paltrow are together again, as both have been tapped as the new faces for two luxe fragrances. Paltrow is representing Hugo Boss’s new women’s fragrance, Boss Nuit, while Pitt has been signed as the new face of Chanel’s iconic No. 5 scent. And he’s in good company! As the first male spokesperson, Pitt follows Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tautou, and Catherine Deneuve, who have all appeared in advertisements for the 91-year-old perfume. No word yet on when Pitt’s Chanel ads will roll out, but limited releases of Boss Nuit will launch in August.

Beyoncé’s $1,200 Shoes Left the Designer Starstruck

Nicholas Kirkwood’s shoes have appeared on the feet of some of the hottest names in entertainment, but he still got a little starstruck when he saw that Beyoncé wore his glitter satin sandals ($1,265 at mytheresa.com) to a dinner hosted by Michelle Obama. “I think Beyoncé looked great!” the designer told us at the opening of his Manhattan store. “How could you not be excited to see Beyoncé in your shoes?” While Beyoncé is a pro at walking in high heels, Kirkwood knows that every woman has their own heel height preference. “Heels can be quite wibbly wobbly,” he said. “Some of my clients can literally wear them all day. Some girls are so used to wearing heels it’s almost more painful to wear flats.” Tell us: Do you prefer heels or flats?
