With Rachel Zoe’s new pre-fall collection hitting stores on May 15th, we picked out a few of our favorites that might be worth a credit card swipe in the near future. Her lineup includes double platforms, chunky wedges, and ladylike T-strap heels in season-less colors like blacks, browns, and deep peacock greens. See our seven favorites in the gallery, and shop them for $295 to $500 when they land in stores like Neiman Marcus, Shopbop.com, and Nordstrom next week.
Country star Miranda Lambert channeled her Kentucky Derby look this weekend from a world-famous hat expert: Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge! “She definitely looked to Kate Middleton for her Derby hat style,” her stylist Tiffany Gifford told InStyle.com of her Giovannio New York topper. “Miranda specifically asked for a fascinator this year because the big hat she wore last year was so heavy it hurt her neck! She loved the little cage on the front because it was just the right amount of retro.” The black sequin-covered topper complemented her printed Lela Rose strapless dress, while red Charlotte Olympia pumps and Colette jewels rounded out her accessories.

Hollywood headed to the racetrack this weekend for the 138th annual Kentucky Derby, and they brought their biggest and best hats with them! Once Upon a Time‘s Ginnifer Goodwin placed her bets in a wide-brimmed coral topper, while Mary J. Blige cheered on the jockeys wearing a red, rose-adorned fedora. Dreams do come true! Marchesa is coming out with a lower-price line, designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig announced today. “We have always had a vision for Marchesa to be a lifestyle brand,” Chapman told WWD. “We have been very specific for eveningwear so far. We always had this dream Marchesa could transcend into all different areas of lifestyle.” The collection will incorporate embroidery and prints—elements that made Marchesa a red carpet favorite (Diane Kruger is just one of many celebrity fans)—on clothes and accessories ranging from $150 to $750. The first pieces will land in stores by next summer. We can hardly wait!
