Marchesa is coming out with a lower-price line, designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig announced today. “We have always had a vision for Marchesa to be a lifestyle brand,” Chapman told WWD. “We have been very specific for eveningwear so far. We always had this dream Marchesa could transcend into all different areas of lifestyle.” The collection will incorporate embroidery and prints—elements that made Marchesa a red carpet favorite (Diane Kruger is just one of many celebrity fans)—on clothes and accessories ranging from $150 to $750. The first pieces will land in stores by next summer. We can hardly wait!
