Real Housewives Star Kyle Richards to Open Clothing Store

Bravo star Kyle Richards is opening a new clothing store, an idea that came to her during a book signing at the Florida-based shop Alene Too. “I was so distracted at the signing because the store had every brand I love like Alice + Olivia, vintage Chanel and Haute Hippie,” she told InStyle.com. After the event, she reached out to co-owners Debbie Weisman and Lizzy Schwartz to open a Beverly Hills branch. “I have to bop all over L.A. to find those designers, so this is one-stop-shopping all under one roof.” Kyle by Alene Too will open in June, and will also have an online store so fans can shop beyond the Hills. “I’ve always dreamt about this,” Richards said. “They aren’t going to be able to get rid of me—I’m bringing a sleeping bag to the store!”

Narciso Rodriguez Texts Claire Danes on the Red Carpet

When Narciso Rodriguez wants Claire Danes to know how amazing she looks in his designs, he texts her himself! Like last week, when the actress stopped by the Tribeca Film Festival in a sexy hot pink Rodriguez look. “I sent her a text saying, ‘Thank you for making me look so good,’” the designer told us at a benefit for his alma mater, Parsons the New School for Design. “And that’s on top of being a really great friend and a woman who’s so amazing, so beautiful and talented and courageous and intelligent. She really is all that. And I’m proud to call her my friend.” Now that’s a sweet relationship!

Emma Roberts and January Jones stocked up on summer essentials at the launch party for the Shops at Target in New York City, the retailer’s new initiative featuring five different limited-edition collections by shop owners of specialty stores around the country. “I just got a pair of the Webster for Target wedges that are going to be so cute for summer,” said Roberts, who went pre-shopping for the white sweater she wore to the bash from the Webster collection, inspired by the famous Miami boutique. Alice Temperley to Launch Lower-Priced Line

British department store John Lewis tapped Alice Temperley to create a more affordable range, called Somerset by Temperley. ”I wanted it to be very much a collection of essentials,” the designer told The Telegraph. Shoppers can expect to see “feminine and functional” looks, like the ones loved by the Temperley’s celebrity clients Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Heidi Klum. The 60-piece line will launch September 4th, with partywear expected in October. And while there aren’t any John Lewis outposts in the US, the store does ship stateside.
