Washington, D.C. Turns Into Party City: See the Photos!

Washington, D.C. was the most popular place to be this weekend! Some of the biggest names in Hollywood jetted to the nation’s capital to catch a glimpse of President Obama for the 98th Annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and the oodles of cocktail parties that came along with it. After garnering plenty of laughs as host of the event—where Reese Witherspoon (in Monique Lhuillier) mingled with New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand—comedian Jimmy Kimmel ventured over to the French Ambassador’s house for the Bloomberg andVanity Fair reception, along with Sofia Vergara (in David Meister), Kate Hudson (in Jenny Packham), George Clooney, and Kerry Washington (in Calvin Klein). “I thought the POTUS [President of the United States] was hilarious,” Tweeted Washington. “It was a wonderful weekend.” See more stars at the weekend’s hottest events—D.C. and beyond—in the gallery.

First Look: Jaime King and Rachel Bilson’s Hart of Dixie Wedding Dresses

The big day is almost here! On the season finale of Hart of Dixie, Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) prepares to tie the knot with George Tucker (Scott Porter), and Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) gets into the wedding-day spirit, too! We got an exclusive first look at the upcoming bridal episode, in which both stylish ladies try on Southern Belle-worthy gowns by star gown designer Monique Lhuillier. King’s off-the-shoulder dress, named Petal, is part of Lhuillier’s spring 2012 collection. As for who walks down the aisle? We’ll have to tune in on Monday, May 14th to find out. In the meantime, catch a new episode Hart of Dixie at 9/8c on the CW.

Ginnifer Goodwin Went to the White House in H&M

Hollywood descended upon Washington, D.C. this weekend to attend the 98th annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner. And while many of the big names chose designer looks—Michelle Obama wore Naeem Khan, for example—Ginnifer Goodwin strolled in wearing a look from fast-fashion retailer H&M. The Once Upon a Time star’s white gown, made with organic cotton, is part of H&M’s new red carpet collection, which has also been spotted on Michelle Williams and Amanda Seyfried. Goodwin’s piece is in stores now for $299. Only 1,000 of these were made, and each is individually numbered.
