For Reem Acra’s spring 2013 bridal show, the designer looked to the garden for inspiration. As a result, the collection’s 24 dresses looked like a bouquet of blooms and blossoms, covering everything from sleeves to skirts. According to Acra, the mix-and-match layers “belong in the closet of a fun-loving, yet confident woman”—and that’s just the type of bride these designs would be perfect for. See our top Reem Acra looks in the gallery, and more of our favorites from spring 2013 Bridal Fashion Week.

Dick Clark passed away yesterday at the age of 82, and it’s with sadness that we say goodbye to America’s oldest teenager. We first got to know him as the host of American Bandstand, and then he made Times Square a must-see every December 31st with his always-memorable New Year’s Rockin’ Eve show. Over the years, he also chronicled the most of-the-moment singers and stars, including some of our favorites, like Paula Abdul, Hilary Duff, and Mariah Carey. See some of his most memorable celebrity encounters in the gallery now.
More children’s clothes by Gwen Stefani are on the way! After launching her first mini-size line for Target in November, the No Doubt singer and L.A.M.B. founder is hard at work on a follow-up. “Target is going to keep coming,” Stefani told InStyle.com at the Milk & Bookies Story Time Celebration in Los Angeles this weekend. “We’ve got new collections coming and coming and coming. For the kids stuff, I draw from Japanese inspiration or from Japanese kids clothes.” So, who is more fun to dress—children or adults? “I love to do both,” she said. “I really enjoy doing the children’s right now probably because it’s new.” We can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!

Want to lighten your strands? For tips, we caught up with hairstylist Riawna Capri, owner of Nine Zero One Salon in Los Angeles, who recently gave Julianne Hough her new sunnier hue. “Julianne’s ashy blond works so well because she has a natural ash base to begin with, and she always keeps a healthy glow on her skin,” she told InStyle.com exclusively. “Light skin, light hair, and light eyes tend to blend together and create a washed out look. Keeping a sun-kissed tone makes icy blond colors pop.” Capri advises using a toning shampoo and conditioner at home, like Unite’s Blonda Shampoo and Conditioner ($27 and $29; unitehair.com). “They get rid of yellow and brassy tones—a must for every blond!“
