Vera Wang’s Tuxedos for Men’s Wearhouse: Now in StoresApr 13, 2012 @ 10:35 am
Vera Wang’s nimble design fingers are in every inch of the bridal market—rings for Zales, gowns and bridesmaid dreses for David’s Bridal, iPad apps for brides-to-be—and now she’s including men in her ever-growing empire. The designer recently announced a partnership with Men’s Wearhouse to create BLACK by Vera Wang, a tuxedo rental collection, and the lineup is now in stores. ”For more than twenty years, I have shared my design vision with women around the world, so it is exciting to have the the opportunity to share that with men as well,” Wang said. The first collection includes two styles, a black tuxedo (in stores now and available to rent for events starting April 18th) and a gray suit (in stores in May and available for events starting August 1st). The complete look, including coat, pant, shirt, bow or tie and vest, cufflinks, studs, shoes, and even socks, will rent for $220. (Grooms can get it even cheaper by signing up for a rewards program.)
