The tux is nice but it is a scam how the tuxedo’s are just for rent for this much money. I would rather buy the tux than have to pay $220 for a rental.

I would like to buy this tux. How much $ ?

If you have 5 or more groomsmen that rent this tuxedo, the groom will get one for free (to keep). A good tux can start off at $100.00+, so it’s a good deal. My fiancé and I getting this and we are getting an extra 20% off because I brought my dress from the sister store, David’s bridal. the total for the tux and the groomsmen rental comes out to $1200.

I mean $1,000 plus… Not $100.

Nothing is free. If a groom gets a free tux, then his groomsmen are paying for it!
The offer takes advantage of people’s greed at the expense of his friends. Literally.
Regarding the pricing of a tuxedo rental, over $200 is not competitive.
About the styling – It’s feminine. In no Men’s Wearhouse ad will you see the spokesman dressed
in this tux. One has to be waif-thin , otherwise the jacket flares at the waist like a skirt. Not a very appealing sight for a man!

You’re right, nothing is ever free. However, if you rent a suit from MW the average rental for a suit (complete and with the discount) is $150. The groomsmen may be paying an extra $25 with discounts, but so worth it to get one free. If you want to work something out, the groom can even pay the differences.

As for the style, don’t let the picture fool you. Our groomsmen and my fiancé do not have the same body type! They are not all thin, short, or tall. Even with all the differences, they look sophisticated, uniformed and handsome! You should probably try it on to form your opinions, as for my fiancé and groomsmen the absolutely look great in them.

I just picked up this tux for my wedding this weekend. I goth admit I was pretty nervous to pick this style up. It’s very tailored and being a rental, it’s tailored for the general public. I have a very unique build and off the rack suits NEVER work for me. I have huge shoulders and an average waist. The staff at MW were more than accommodating to my demands for perfection in fit and went over every detail with me! As for the cost… Believe me, I heard about it from everyone. However, the groom doesn’t have to be greedy to choose this tux. I opted to give my “free tux” to my ring barer because his dad is a groomsmen. Splits the cost up a bit amongst friends! HUGE disappointment that the

The tuxedo is not free to take home… it is free as in he gets to wear it and then has to return it. Most of the major chains run a similar deal. You should definitely double check to make sure you understand how the “rent 5 get 1 free” deal works at men’s warehouse. We did the same thing and my husband did not get to keep the tuxedo… actually he even shared the discount and paid for at least 2 of his groomsmens tuxes. I think you shouldn’t ask someone to spend what you wouldn’t in the same situation.

A good friend of mine is using this tux. At ~$200 for a rental I was ‘displeased’ to say the least–especially considering that I already own a tuxedo. I contacted my made to measure suit vendor, and he said she should be able to clone the tux without issue. 100% wool, with the option to go full canvass (for an additional $99) for $352. If 3 or more people order the price drops to $275 and includes a tailored shirt as well. Plus it is made to fit my exact body, so I can avoid the generic-tailoring OTR fit.

Just some food for thought.
