HBO debuts a new show about four women living in New York City this Sunday, but it’s nothing like the network’s previous female-driven smash, Sex and the City. Girls stars Zosia Mamet, Jemima Kirke, Lena Dunham, and Allison Williams as four friends trying to launch their post-college lives—with eclectic wardrobes to match. “We wanted their clothes to be different and unique from the cast’s everyday lives, we wanted to tell a story,” the show’s costume designer Jenn Rogien told InStyle.com. Find out more about their style from Rogien in the gallery, shop some of our favorite Girls-inspired looks from the series. Then, tune in to the premiere Sunday, April 15th at 10/9c on HBO, or catch the first episode the next day free of charge on hbo.com.
