The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City is following up last year’s immensely successful Alexander McQueen exhibit with a new collection featuring the work of two Italian greats—the late Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada. The the 80-piece exhibition, titled Impossible Conversations, juxtaposes the two designers’ work to show how both have influenced (and continue to influence) modern design. The exhibit opens May 10th and will run until August 19th—so mark your calendars now. Click through the gallery for a sneak peek, and visit metmuseum.org for more info.
