The Travel Channel‘s new show Baggage Battles covers these speedy sales, and the auction-goers who attend them in hopes of uncovering pricey items. You would think that airlines should try their darndest to get the unclaimed baggage back to the rightful owner. If they still auction it off, what they make should cover the costs of other things that they get from travelers.

Does anyone really believe this show is not faked. It is a complete setup just like the othewr auction shows. The production company supplies the luggage they bid on and the items inside.

If you saw the London show how could they make any profit after paying for roundtrip airfare to fly to London, pay for the hotel room local transportation and food cost..

@insider you missed one very important fact about Baggage Battles that the other shows don’t have.
You say the production company plants something of value inside the bag. There are up to 1000 people in the room bidding. What happens if some anonymous person from the general public wins the bag that has stuff planted in it,
I doubt these cheapskate production company’s would take such a risk.
Also In Storage Wars it’s hardly the regular folk bidding it’s the same frumpy cast that bid against themselves.
