Sorry, cannot agree. Linda Evangelista couldn’t have pulled off that hat – it’s not “iconic”, it’s absurd, and the designer should have been sent to the Tower for treason. One of the reasons that Kate looks good most of the time is that she knows what she can wear and what she can’t. The York girls seem to have no idea what they can and cannot wear. There are two ways to go: you can wear the clothes or the clothes can wear you. Kate wears her clothes; Beatrice’s and Eugenie’s clothes usually wear them. The hat is ridiculous. It’s truly the Emperor’s New Clothes.
