True to the plot line, some extra effort went into the dinner wardrobe Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks) picked on last night’s new episode of Mad Men. “You can tell Joan was planning on what she was going to wear for weeks in anticipation of Greg’s homecoming,” the show’s costume designer Janie Bryant (inset) told InStyle.com of why she chose this slinky burgundy jacquard dress for Joan. “I wanted her costume to be sexy, and have that smoky, dark, deep quality.” It certainly was!
