Found It! Abbie Cornish’s Slate Nail Polish

Mar 29, 2012 @ 5:00 pm

We loved Abbie Cornish‘s steely manicure at a recent Restoration Hardware event in Beverly Hills, so we caught up with the actress to find out the exact shade she wore! Cornish lacquered up in the metallic Wasteland by CK One ($14; available April 23rd at ulta.com). “I’ve never worn a green dress like this before, and I wanted to set it off with a gray nail polish,” she told InStyle.com exclusively. “I used the gunmetal color, then paired it with a lighter shade by Topshop on my ring finger.” So pretty!

Anna Faris Reveals the Secret to Her Enviable Glow

Mar 29, 2012 @ 4:35 pm

Anna Faris‘s complexion gives us serious skin envy, so when we caught up with the actress, who recently partnered with Jergens for their Places You Glow campaign, we had to get the details on her skincare routine. Her first step? A good SPF! “I wish I had started using sun protection earlier! I always forget, so moisturizers with SPF are perfect for me,” the actress told InStyle.com. I used to tan, but started using the Jergens Natural Glow & Protect lotion ($9; drugstore.com). An actress I worked with turned me on to the original product years ago.” While she begins the day layering her products, she’s equally dedicated to stripping them away after a long day. “I’m really diligent about taking off my makeup at night, especially after filming. I use a light cleanser followed by Lancome’s Bi-Facil ($27; lancome-usa.com) over my eyes,” Faris said. Click through the gallery for more celebrity-inspired skincare tips!

Solange Knowles on Her Style: ‘Comfort is Definitely Key’

Mar 29, 2012 @ 3:30 pm

How has Solange Knowles, mother of 7-year-old Juelz and aunt to Blue Ivy Carter, adapted her everyday style since becoming a mom? “Comfort is becoming of real importance to me,” she told InStyle.com last night, at a “Shop Spring” party held at Stuart Weitzman‘s boutique in New York City. “I find that the older my son gets, the more we have on our schedule, versus when they’re babies you’re kind of just going for walks and things like that,” she said. “Now there are soccer practices and piano lessons and playdates and sleepovers and birthdays—comfort is definitely key,” the DJ added. And what about baby Blue? “She’s kind of got her cotton Onesie swag going on,” Knowles said. How cute! For more photos of Hollywood’s hottest moms and their kids, click through the gallery.
